Favorite Games Ever

I have new neighbor. It’s really new, because I don’t have any neighbor before in this new house. There are so many houses were built around my house, this is the second house (my house is the first) that is gonna be filled with a family. I wish the family had a girl (or more), so I have new friend. But lately I knew that the family just had a boy and I am not attracted at him. (of courseeee! I am not single! I don’t need two boyfriends.) Thankfully, the family decided not to move there, they only use the house for business: PlayStation Rental.

The house is beside my house. Very close, isn’t it? Why don’t the family open warnet (net café)? To be honest, I don’t have PC with internet connection in my house. You can imagine how hard I am every time I wanted to post on this blog. I have to find net café, it’s far away. Yep, that’s one reason why I have been so late to post new entries (sorrrrrrry… I planned to buy modulator-demodulator, I hope it would help me to stop excusing about late posting. Just wait! I’m saving my money now.). If the family had opened net café, I would have been very happy and no longer worry about this blog. Unluckily, PlayStation Rental remains what it is now, not turn into what I wish.

To kill my disappointment, I should have gone to their house and played PlayStation there (who knows they’d give me free charge? hahaha). Hey, wait. I remember, PlayStation is well-known only among boys, just a little amount of girls know and want to play it. So, the rental is full of boys. (Forget it! I refuse to go there.) Oh, and one more thing, I have PlayStation in my room!

I don’t have to pay any Rupiah to play PlayStation. It’s free forever. Ok, now I forget my disappointment for a while, and play, play, play!

Harvest Moon: Back to Nature

The first time I got acquainted with PlayStation (it was PS1), I played only this game. I didn’t know much about other PlayStation games. Harvest Moon: Back to Nature is about an adventure of a boy whose grandfather had passed away, his grandfather inherit a farm to him, believing that he must be able to handle everything and restore the farm to its original state and get along with the villagers within three years . If he couldn’t restore the farm and get along with the villagers, he would have to leave. The boy is the character I play. So I have to take care of farm: Planting vegetables, flowers and fruits; building ranches for chicken, cows and sheep; purchasing chicken, cows and sheep to take care of; etc. I love this game in every part of it, especially at the time when I have to find girl to be my wife (‘my’ is the character game, not ‘my’ in the real life. :D), and when I cook in the kitchen. I think it’s fun.

this image is from here.
Since I had PlayStation 2, I have rarely played this game. In my opinion, Harvest Moon in PlayStation 2 such as Harvest Moon: Innocent Life, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, Harvest Moon 3 is not as fun as Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. They are so different. (Maybe I don’t like to adjust myself to a new environment.)

The Sims 2

For those who are fasting (especially boys), I don’t suggest you to play this game. Sometimes this game show semi-nudity (when the characters take a bath) and let us perform kind of free-sex: smooching, making out, woohoo (making love) as the common ways to socialize even if the characters haven’t got married yet.

Not to mention some gross things in the game, I like this game. I can build the character both physically and mentally. I can choose what color of the character’s skin is, whether the body is slim or fat, how big the eyes are, what color of the hair is, etc. I can choose whether I smart or not. That’s what I love!

The architecture of the houses is so beautiful. It’s interesting to have unique home appliances, electronic devices, and so on (in the real life, it takes a long time to save my money to buy them). It is also possible for me to move to new house (a lot of options).

I have to learn ability to clean rooms, cook, repair, etc here. It fits me. I love cooking. :*

From this game, I know one of Paramore’s songs: Pressure. That song is one of the game’s soundtracks, it played when I turn the radio on. From that time on, I start listening to their songs, and fell in love with Paramore. :)

Bratz

Girls with a passion for fashion, they are Bratz. This game is mainly about fashion. What I like in this game is not because fashion is the theme. As the game’s language (both spoken and written) is English, I try very hard to improve my English (you know, now mine is sooo bad. English is not my mother tongue).  Then, this game teach me how important to have dreams in my life, dreams would come true if we never gonna give up to reach them no matter how hard it is. The soundtracks tell me a lot of things about what friends and dreams really are for.

Left to right: Jade, Chloe, Yasmin, Sasha
The main characters here are Jade a.k.a Kool Kat, Cloe a.k.a Angel, Sasha a.k.a Bunny Boo and Yasmin a.k.a Pretty Princess. Did you know? I named this blog Kool Kat because I love cat so much, and I love Jade.

Miscellaneous

Once I played GTA (Game Theft Auto) San Andreas, I feel like no fun. So do I when I played Dynasty Warriors, Naruto, Avatar: The Last Air Bender, Bully, Winning Eleven, and so on. Maybe I do for the reason that I dislike violence and sport (except Moto GP).
I never played this
I know, the PlayStation games I like is probably not fun for you. Everybody is different, right?

Just wait and see whether I can collect much money asap to buy modem so I don’t need to play PlayStation too much everyday (I’d better post on this blog).

See ya soon.

Snack: Martabak Pangsit

This is a little bit different with the real Martabak Telur or Egg Martabak. While Egg Martabak’s skin is like filo pastry, Martabak Pangsit’s skin is Pangsit, known as Wonton Skin. It’s also much simpler to make. Everyone can do it. Trust me.

Ingredients:
you just need these!
-some sheets of Pangsit or Wonton Skin (in Indonesia, this is very common found in traditional markets.)
-Chopped beef, as many as you like
-a half onion, chopped
-leek
-a half carrot, chopped
-an egg
-salt and pepper
-frying oil
-tomato or chili sauce

Steps:

First thing first, sauté the onion with beef until it is half-cooked.
keep an eye of it.
Place the sautéed onion and beef in a bowl, together with leek and carrot.

Crack the egg, pour it into the bowl. Then add salt and pepper (use your feeling here! :)).

you can add more than an egg, it's all up to you.
Mix everything in the bowl by tablespoon or fork.
Turn the stove on, heat the frying oil. Make sure the heat is low, we don’t want the Pangsit become dark.

Let’s fold!  :)
Last but not least, fry the martabak pangsits until they are golden brown.
Deep frying is better.

Martabak Pangsit is ready to serve. :) Add tomato or chili sauce if you want. As it is snack, you can eat it at tea-time, or you can bring it to school and share it with your friends.
Sorry for bad plating, I'm not a chef.
Is it super-easy, isn’t it? So, what are you waiting for? Go grab your apron, go to the kitchen, and cook with love! Happy Cooking! :)

How to Get Rid of Acne, It's Easy!

If you’re bothered with zits in your face, the best step you should take is going to a dermatologist. Nothing could help you until you talk with him/her about your skin. Trust me. To be honest, I was the one who involved in this problem. My face was so awful, full of pimples and black spots. I had tried so many ways to get my skin better. Washing my face with anti-acne facial foam, masking my face with lemon water, applying anti-acne cream in the night, etc. I had spent a lot of money to buy anti-acne products, but nothing was affected. I worried, what if my face would be getting worse due to those products? I didn’t wish that.

So I decided to check up to a dermatologist. That was the first time in my life. I actually worried about how much it would cost, then I realized that my face is much more important than money. It is priceless.
Yeah, my decision was right. My face was back! :D No acne, no black spots. Not to mention that the scars were still there, but it was too smooth to touch. I admit I had spent a lot of money, yet it worth it.

The problem is that my money has its limit. It’s impossible if I use the dermatologist’s product all my life. I don’t have much money, I am not rich! Besides, the medicine, day cream, night cream, facial wash, and cleanser are made of much chemical. I don’t feel safe to use them forever.

Since I ran out the products, I have stopped going to the dermatologist. At first, I was afraid to get my zits like I used to be. Then I found the ways to keep up the smooth skin. Check them out! :)

Right Facial Foam

It’s little bit tricky. There are tons facial foam products out there, I have to choose one. I remember the facial wash product the dermatologist gave to me, it has no scrubs, no fragrant, no color, it is soft like simple syrup, but it’s not sticky (and definitely not sweet like me! :P). I looked for the thing like that. And thanks God, I found it. Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Wash. Just to let you know, this is not an advertisement (no one pay me for mentioning the brand).

oil free
After washing my face with Clean & Clear, I get my face is totally clean. Bye-bye for the dust, oil, and make-up dirt. :) Do you know? Acne is happened because the dust and make-up is stuck on the oily skin so that the pore is clogged by them.
For price, it is very cheap. It is IDR 15000. :)

I don’t say it would work out on you. Just try it out first. You could use the other product as long as you feel it fits in you. I just give the bottom line here that the right facial foam is when first: it has no scrubs. Scrub would scratch your zits and it would give your skin more black spots which are super-hard to get rid of. Second: it is not soap. Your skin will be dry. Sometimes oil is not bad for skin, if your face is dry, then your skin will produce much more oil (it could be too much) to moisturize. Too much oil could cause acne. Therefore, when you’re taking bath, make sure you don’t use the soap on your face.

Don’t forget to wash your face regularly. I wash my face after waking up every morning, a while after coming back from school, and every night before I sleep.

Big NO for Extracting

80 % bacteria in our bodies are in our hand. That is why extracting acne is not suggested if you don’t want your zits and black spots increasing. I know, after extracting, the zits seem to be dry sooner, but the skin will be injured. Injured skin will turn into black spot. The best is that you wait the zits dry naturally, you’ll see, your skin is gonna be beautiful like nothing’s happened. :)

 Loose Powder
I hate this in the beginning. It quickly blows away with wind. Well, that’s just the key. Long lasting powder (e.g. compact powder, two-way cake, etc) is harmful for me. Like I said before, since my skin face is oily, the dust and make-up dirt will be stuck on the oil, and it will clog the pores. Before loose powder stuck on the oil-face, it has blown away, while compact powder and friends would clog the pores. Again, it causes acne.
As for loose powder, I use Marcks’. This is made in Indonesia. As far as I know, the ingredients are chemical-free, all are from nature. The dermatologist recommended it to me. Oh, and last but not least, it is low-priced. It is only IDR 5000!

I should've bought the new one. :/

 Smile Up :)
Don’t let you’re stressed at anything. Just calm down, and smile. Even though it’s not easy to smile when you have a lot of problems toward you, it is still possible to do. If you’re stressed, believe it or not, your zits will come back again. It happens because the cell that produces oily Sebum in our face is affected by stress hormone. Sebum will mingle with dead skin and bacteria to clog skin pores. One more time, acne is caused by them. Don’t worry about your zits again. Just smile!

That’s all for now. Do you have better solution for this problem? Leave me comments here, and I thank you so much.

I also thank you for reading this boring blog. Hope this would come in handy for you. :)

See ya.

Mysterious Girl

Hi there! It is August 6 already. To my surprise, we’ve reached more than a half Ramadan month. It means that Idul Fitri is coming so soon.  In Indonesia, Idul Fitri wouldn’t be as complete as when we have brand new outfits. I just don’t know why that tradition is inherited until this time, and I don’t know whether other countries have the same tradition or not.

I, myself wasn’t affected by the tradition. But I went to the mall anyway. Hahaha. I could explain this. I have told you that I’m not rich. I don’t have many outfits. I felt like I’ve worn everything in my wardrobe very often. It’s impossible for me to wear them again in the great day like Idul Fitri. So, I need (need, not want!) to buy something new.

Not cool, Jl. Dhoho (a street in Kediri which is popular with the factory outlets along the edge of it) was so crowded with loads of people that I even couldn’t breathe. I thought everyone was shopping at that time! Therefore, I decided to go home without buying a thing.

In spite of not buying anything that night, I was so thankful I was home. Ndut’s baby was finally born! Unluckily, I was a little bit late. I didn’t see the process of birth. I just saw a cutie little kitten was sleeping beside Ndut. Yeah, just one kitten. Not five like I want so much in my post here. Actually, it should be two. But, Allah knows the best :’). One of them has had to face Allah before he knew the world. Oh, I wanted to cry. I didn’t want to see his dead body. I couldn’t. I knew, he must be happier in heaven, but I have loved him since he wasn’t born yet. And now I’m still loving him. :’(

Ok. Forget it. Mourning too long it’s not good. I still have one kitten. She is female and brown (yep, female again, brown again). So far, I didn’t have any idea to name her, neither did my mom. (Let’s hope that we would give her a cute name asap). If you have idea for it, please tell me now in the comment space! Hehehe. I’d thank you so much.

She seems to drink milk too much, see the tummy. :D
Our (my mom and me) focus now is not in giving the baby name. Do you know Menthil? She is Ndut’s sister I’ve told you in this post. From the photos on that post, I think you agree with me, they used to be so close, they loved each other. They used to sleep, play, and eat together. So I wonder, since Ndut had a baby, Menthil always hiss at Ndut. She seems to be very angry at her (and maybe at the baby?). Ndut has tried so many ways to approach Menthil, but Menthil stayed angry. What happened to her? Is she jealous of the baby? I think so. I admit that my mom and I care Ndut and her baby more than we care of Menthil. The baby was weak. If we didn’t take care of her, she might be died like her brother (Please don’t let it happened again, God). When I’m writing this post, Menthil is roaring at Ndut. Can anyone help me here?

It’s still mystery. Let me sneak around Menthil and try to find out what’s on her mind.

Thanks for reading! Talk to you later.

Frown

Yesterday, I stuck on a blog of my teacher. Wow, her blog was awesome. From there, I could conclude that she is the best teacher ever. She is not like me, just writing so many boring articles about personal life. She shared many tutorials about software, etc (I don’t understand about this one.), wrote her thought about so many problem in Indonesia education, announced her students’ mark in her subject, she shared about her personal life too, but just a little. The most important is that everything she wrote is in English. Not a bad English like mine, but a very excellent one.

Apparently, I don’t have to wonder too much about her. She was an alumna of my school, achieving so many achievements. She always became the first in her class (if she was not, she would go suicide, seriously) and as far as I know, she won The National English Debate Competition among vocational high schools in Indonesia.
Reading her blog brings me back to the past, about three years ago, when I took my first step in that school. It was strange at first, but as time goes by, I fell in love with that school. Having loads of friends, taking pleasure in school facilities, joining a lot of extracurricular activities, being popular (honestly I am not pretty sure, haha), and having a senior as my boyfriend. Everything seemed to be very perfect, flawless. Oh, people are true saying that the most precious moment in one’s life is in high school. But I just could smile in a year having that happiness, before I must say bye-bye to everyone in the 2nd year. :’(

I had to move into new school, my mom said. My dad had to work in other city, and I didn’t have any options except going along with my family. I cried, just could cry. Why should be me? I was not ready to see that I no longer had many friends, no longer take pleasure in school facilities, no longer join a lot of extracurricular activities (fyi, I won the first place in the English Debate Competition in my school), no longer popular, no longer have senior as my boyfriend. I lost everything I used to have in my hand.
Being a new student is difficult, it’s not easy to find a friend I can share with. :(

My new school is neither national standardized nor international standardized, no
 facility could support me. :(

The extracurricular activities in my new school don’t accept the new student like me unless I want to be one of the juniors. (and I don’t like it). :(

I am new. It’s impossible if I rapidly become well-known in new school. :(

My new school just has girls, girls, and girls. No boy! Oh, too bad :(

Of course, I was very depressed. I lost my self-esteem. Suddenly I felt like I want to be my teacher. Before I moved, as I won the English Debate Competition, I was chosen as my school representatives to join the national competition, like she did. But what would it be if I had moved?

Be grateful of what you have today, you’d never know when you lost them…
